Commitments

A commitment ceremony represents the love and trust between two people who wish to declare in front of family and friends their wish to spend their lives together. Although not a legally binding ceremony, it is a strong affirmation of the love and respect between two people.

It would be a pleasure to assist you in making your ceremony personal and unique, reflecting your beliefs and personality, capturing those elements that are special to you. By drawing on traditional and modern elements, and honouring your cultural and religious beliefs, together we can create a truly bespoke committment ceremony. This can include rituals and symbols which have specific personal meaning such as hand-fasting, sand, candle or rose ceremonies or the inclusion of children and family members.

Naming Ceremonies

A naming ceremony is a way to welcome a new child into your family, whether it be a new birth, or a step or adopted child. It would be a pleasure to assist you in making your ceremony personal and unique, reflecting your families’ beliefs and personality, and capturing those elements which are special to you.
